This policy describes how RentRoll, operated by HawkEye Accounting and Tax in Crestview, Florida (HawkEye Products), handles personal information. What we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and a password hash (we do not store the password itself).

Bookkeeping data you enter: properties, units, tenants, transactions, mileage, maintenance notes, and files you upload.

Session data: a cookie that keeps you signed in.

How we use it

We use this information to provide RentRoll, keep your books separate from other landlords, and protect the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and sessions

RentRoll uses a session cookie so you stay signed in. It is required for the app to work. We do not use it to sell data or to follow you around the web.

How long we keep it

We keep account and bookkeeping data while your account is open. Email [email protected] to ask us to delete your account and the personal data tied to it. We may keep a minimal record if the law requires it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including hashed passwords and access controls, to protect your property and financial data. No online service can promise perfect security.

Not advice

RentRoll is bookkeeping software. It is not tax, legal, or accounting advice.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes, including while RentRoll is in beta. The date at the top will change when we do.
